Hard as nails - L'Oreal Paris Color Riche

Until recently I hardly ever wore nail varnish, not because I didn't like but because I was RUBBISH at it.

I'd smudge it, chip it and just generally ruin it. Also because of my pale, pale hands I found anything too bright a little harsh.

Then I found this:

This is L'Oreal Paris Color Riche in 603 Parisian Rooftops.

It different lights it changes from a delicious grey to a delicate lilac.  It's a beautiful and sophisticated colour that you can wear with anything (but is particularly nice with blues or purples). Not only is the colour gorgeous but the formula is brilliant and lasts about twice as long as any other nail varnish I've tried. I'm currently on day 3 with not a single chip!

Check out their other colours, it's not the biggest selection but it's certainly one of the best with other unusual shades to enhance your collection. Another favourite of mine is 840 Black Diamond - it lasted over a week!

Let me know what you think!

The first...

First off all I want to start with some disclaimers and some facts:
  1. I was the ugly one at school. I am not a natural when it comes to beauty products and it's taken me years to find what works for me
  2. I'm lazy - therefore anything that makes getting ready in the morning quicker and easier is going to become a staple product
  3. What works for me won't work for everyone. I won't pretend that they will. Take everything I say with a pinch of salt.
As I've said, I was never a natural when it came to beauty products. I lived in a house with more women than men but it was never filled with face masks and moisturiser, I've had to make my own mistakes when it's come to make up and I'm still learning. And trust me, I made some horrible mistakes...

But that's what I love about make up, trends keep changing, people keep coming up with new techniques and new formulas and it's just so....so beautiful.

I'm going to be putting up reviews of anything I've loved, hated or been indifferent to so make sure you keep checking back. And feel free to message me with feedback or requests.
